Assistant Manager, Distribution Centre

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes and managing all activities for the assigned division.
  • To assist superior for any ad hoc and special project.
  • Provide leadership and direction of the division in support of the Logistic department.
  • Support the implementation of a proactive business strategy, including setting and/or implementing productivity and route profitability goals for the center.
  • To assist commercial department as part of the replenishment team.
  • Provides excellent supervision and coaching which contributes to the development of executives, supervisors and other team members.
  • To manage and supervise the team to ensure the KPI given to be achieve.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experiences:

  • Advanced professional certification or diploma holder.
  • Min 3-5 years working experience in supply chain or in any related field.
Key Competencies:
  • Computer skill in Microsoft application & any other WMS software.
  • Integrity - Demonstrates responsible, ethical and honest behavior in carry out responsibilities and decision making.
  • Leadership - Motivate, mentor & lead subordinate to accomplish company objectives.
  • Problem solving - React quickly and follow up on timely manner to problems in DC.
  • Execution - Motivates self and others to accomplish important objectives & execute task despite a complete & dynamic environment.
  • Communication - Communicates clearly and concisely with all subordinates, keep them informed and listen carefully for input and feedback.
  • Safety Orientation - Enforces safety practices/standard are in place for manpower, environment, facilities & stocks.
